Meer oor die Ultra-Till
Berei die uiterste saadbed voor met Ultra-Till® van Great Plains. Dit is bedoel vir sekondêre bewerkings en ‘n enkele afronding van die saadbed voor plant. Die Ultra- Till kan vergelyk word met ‘n saadbedvoorbereider of ‘n skoffeleg, maar met een groot verskil. Omdat dit nie skaggemonteerde skare het nie, sal dit nie oesrowende horisontale verdigtingslae vorm nie. Dis hierdie verdigtingslae wat wortels moeilik penetreer.
Die Ultra-Till kan met effens hol skyflemme of met Great Plains se eksklusiewe Turbokouters toegerus word om reste doeltreffend in beheerbare stukkie te sny en die saadbed se grond los te maak. Die werksdiepte word hidroulies beheer.
Na die voorste kouters volg twee teenwerkende rolharkgroepe teen ‘n hoek van 30°. Die agterste groepe plaas die reste terug op hulle plek om ‘n ferm oppervlak vir ‘n perfekte saadbed te laat.
